Glamping Sites in Dakhla

Great Breakfast, great dinner, great host - thanks Madam Francoise for the great time in familiar atmosphere:) It is a small Paradise there, also with the donkeys which makes it even much more adorable We definetely will come back! Thank you!

I came to Dakhla for kitesurfing and everything worked perfectly staying at Dunes de Dakhla. The hotel is located in the desert, but being one of the 6 hotels from Dakhla Hospitality Group there are free transfers between the hotel and Dakhla Attitude, which is the most recommended kitesurfing camp, also owned by the group. It’s quite magical to sleep in the desert, kite, and then get back to the hotel. The ride is around 20 minutes. lFor me the transfer in the morning was around 10 and the transfer back was super flexible based on my schedule. To take kiting lessons at Attitude you can simply show up (they are organized in packs of 2hrs with starting times at 09:00, 11:00, 14:00 and 16:00) and you’ll get assigned to an instructor based on your level (although you can prebook for 10% discount). Staying at les Dunes you arrive in time for the 11am start. The staff is extremely friendly, i was well taken care of by Mohamed and Mr Yousef, the hotel manager. Rooms are nice and well kept. some reviews mention that the water is sulfuric and smells - that’s true, but no harm in that. it’s water that comes from the ground Food is good and abundant (Italian speaking here, my opinion counts 😉) Overall, highly recommended combo as long as you’re fine with having a bit less flexibility as you’re not staying in the lagoon (thought it would bother me but in the end I really enjoyed this setup).

This is our first time visiting the city of Dakhla, especially Nurt Lagoon, and I can't find the words to describe this wonderful, perfect, tranquil, and breathtaking place for both the eye and the heart. I struggle to express the generosity of hospitality at Nurt Lagoon and the kindness and dedication in serving customers, making you feel at home. The staff is truly ideal, respectful, and devoted to their work, giving their best to satisfy you. I’m talking about Mr. Bashir, the epitome of generosity and beautiful stories, as well as the master of desert tea, who treated us multiple times in various places with everything needed—utensils, a desert setting, and without any fatigue or boredom. He added to the beauty of the place with an enjoyable atmosphere that you never tire of. Then there's Naila, the young girl who prepares the tastiest breakfast with skill and finesse. Though young, she excels in her accomplishments and dedicated service, showing great respect while spreading joy and happiness with her cheerful conversations and laughter that fills the space. And I can't forget Soufiane, the quick, helpful, cheerful assistant who is always there to help with whatever you need, as well as Laila, who was the first to greet us and took us from the airport and back. She describes the place and the city, suggesting everything you could think of regarding activities and enjoyment. It’s a place that is never lacking in beautiful sunshine, with breathtaking views of the sunrise and sunset, white sands that dance in the wind adding to the charm, the tranquil sounds of the desert, and the stars shining brightly at night. You can clearly see the Milky Way from your balcony, along with the sunrise that fills your space, waking you up to a beauty you won’t find anywhere else. I also can't forget the most delicious dishes and their unforgettable taste. Though I haven’t met the chef, I send my warmest greetings and appreciation for their amazing efforts.
