We loved our stay at the lodge. The people working there are so nice and sleeping in a tent was a great way to set the tone for our safari to Yala the next day! We had a rice & curry prepared by the lodge for dinner and it was delicious! One of the best rice & curry we had during our 3 weeks in Sri Lanka!

Lovely stay in Wild Trails Yala by Suri! The hotel is located extremely close to Yala National Park down a dust covered bumpy road! You really feel like you are in the middle of the jungle! The tent accommodation is beautifully designed and feels like luxury! Goshie, the hotel manager, could not have been more helpful! He was so attentive and we learned so much from him about Sri Lanka in general but also about Yala National Park. Goshie organised everything for us from onwards transportation to both an evening and morning safaris. Pathum, our driver, was fantastic, he was so knowledgeable about the animals in Yala and tried his best to ensure we got to experience the best of Yala National Park! We were lucky enough to spot a leopard on both drives thank you Pathum!

My time at Podi Hoona Luxury Bush Camp was absolutely great. From the food , to accommodation was absolutely perfect, The chefs food was the best i ate on my trip. The staff organised me a game drive at Yala National Park which I was lucky to witness the magnificent Sri Lankan Leopard, Sloth bear many elephants and many bird species. Its the ideal place to be in the wild.

Amazing stay in the tree hut in the middle of nowhere. It is very basic but comfortable. Dont go here if you want a 5 star hotel. If you want to experience nature in a comfortable tree hut, this is for you. Great BBQ dinner was provided. Caters for vegetarian also. Did a wildlife experience from here with the owner. He goes out of his way on this tour. Avoids the hundreds of other vehicles to give you an awesome experience. A must do.
