Amazing stay at sunboo bungalows. I stayed in the dorm, it is very comfortable and well equipped. The bed are big and good quality. Everything is made out of bamboo and looks nice and natural. The sunset beach is just amazing with great vibes and different place la to eat. Staff is super nice and enthusiastic. Everything was very clean. Free drinking water available all the time. You just need to be prepared for the hike, the last part is really in the jungle with big rocks and quite a lot of mosquitoes but all in all it was easier than I thought, it took me about 30min with a big bag. Very doable and so so worth it at the end. Would definitely stay there again if I come back to Koh Rong Samloen.

On the second day of our stay on Kohron Sanloem, we went to the western part of the island, where we found ourselves in a true paradise. We hadn't experienced such peace in a long time—all thanks to the owner and his colleagues, who looked after us carefully. Everything was perfect; right next to the bungalows and yurts is a beautiful beach where you can easily spend the whole day reading or relaxing. Our bungalow was very comfortable, but we were only in it for the night anyway. We enjoyed the beach with the sunset and hiking around the island. Breakfast, dinner, and drinks are excellent at Sleeping Trees.

The accommodation blends into the beautiful natural jungle and beach landscape and feels perfect for the setting. Be advised that it is a bit rustic but there's a shower and a flushing toilet and our bed was really comfortable. There are no plug points in the room but you can charge your devices in the dining area. A mosquito net is provided which was great as it meant we could leave the windows open for a cooling sea breeze at night. We were a stone's throw from the water but also surrounded by trees, it was magical. The staff were helpful and friendly but unobtrusive. The food is traditional Khmer cuisine and everything we had was delicious and made with a lot of care. There are also a few other resorts in the bay that serve different food styles. Sunset Beach is more remote than some of the other bays on the island and does not have a ferry port or really much other boat traffic making it perfect for swimming, paddling and snorkeling. This does mean that you have to hike in to the accommodation but it's completely manageable, just be sure to pack in a backpack rather than a suitcase or kit bag. All the pertinent information and directions are sent out in an email as soon as you book. This stands out as one of our best beach holidays, highly recommended.

Thanks scott and pauline !!! what a great place !!!!! highly recommend staying at on the rocks, the tipi tents were excellent !!!! best sunset views on the island.......great night time bbq !!!! great people !!!! tipis were huge could stand up in them.....fan, light, full double mattress,,,comfy pillows...great nights sleep, quiet in the nature !!!! great showers and bathrooms ...soooo clean !!!! will defoooo be back...thanks scott for a great stay !!!!!!

Loved the location and that you get a tent for your own which is more like a tree house. The hammock is great for relaxing. The host and his family are very kind and helpful and the food they offer is just ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I can recommend the cambodian sandwich.
