Loved the laid back atmosphere and great service. Great to have Anaya as a sister location which gave additional choice. Ann and the staff were fantastic - you only had to think of something and it was done. Location was perfect with the shade of the trees if required. We had a Jungle room which was close to the reception and was perfect. Would love to try one of the tents next time!

Staying in the jungle with the sounds of the waves rising up the hill was so incredibly peaceful. Staying in a straw cabana felt like my camping trips when I was a kid growing up on an island. The family was so friendly and made everyone feel at home. A two night stay turned into three weeks and I didn’t want to leave.

It is owned by a Lovely couple. My friend and I stayed in the tent and it was better than we expected. It really helped that it was on a platform under a roof. We had a fan and outlets in the tent. It was really clean and the bed was confortable. They also have a very good restaurant with amazing local food! Highly reccomend!

We, two girls, camped and ate there. We really enjoyed the whole time there and that's why we extended our stay. The place and the staff are just great. The people who run this place are wonderful. Super friendly! They speak great English & can organize anything you need on Koh Rong. The food is Thai & Western and I must say the Thai food is the best I have had anywhere in Cambodia. A really great experience and for anyone wanting to stay on the beach on a budget, I highly recommend this place.

Amazing stay at sunboo bungalows. I stayed in the dorm, it is very comfortable and well equipped. The bed are big and good quality. Everything is made out of bamboo and looks nice and natural. The sunset beach is just amazing with great vibes and different place la to eat. Staff is super nice and enthusiastic. Everything was very clean. Free drinking water available all the time. You just need to be prepared for the hike, the last part is really in the jungle with big rocks and quite a lot of mosquitoes but all in all it was easier than I thought, it took me about 30min with a big bag. Very doable and so so worth it at the end. Would definitely stay there again if I come back to Koh Rong Samloen.

On the second day of our stay on Kohron Sanloem, we went to the western part of the island, where we found ourselves in a true paradise. We hadn't experienced such peace in a long time—all thanks to the owner and his colleagues, who looked after us carefully. Everything was perfect; right next to the bungalows and yurts is a beautiful beach where you can easily spend the whole day reading or relaxing. Our bungalow was very comfortable, but we were only in it for the night anyway. We enjoyed the beach with the sunset and hiking around the island. Breakfast, dinner, and drinks are excellent at Sleeping Trees.
