A tranquil place in the middle of savanna with magnificent views on Kilimanjaro, birds singing since early morning on acacia trees and amazing people who make this please special and take care of you like of their own friends. We arrived in Emali and were picked up by a taxi and brought directly to the camping. We booked four nights in a tent but as we had no car and our backpacks would probably not fit in a tent, we had to change for a house (additionally paid). This place is very safe, surrounded by an electric fence, gate closed for the night and security (Sam) is always there for you. Brian (Lerionka) is a great host (he together with Sam and my husband organized beautiful birthday for me), an awesome cook (his food was delicious) and tour guide - he knows so much about the nature and enjoys sharing his passions with guests. We went on one-day Safari in Amboseli organized by Brian with a guide Isak (very competent guide with years of experience, highly recommended), walking tour (spotting zebras) on savanna next to the camping, hiking on foothill of Kili and even a cooking lesson with Brian. If you would like to relax, spend time in nature, enjoy the views of top of Kilimanjaro and get an authentic experience in Kimana and Oloitokitok, you should definitely stay longer than 2 nights. I highly recommmend this camp for people Who want to see Kenyan wildlife on a very affordable budget - compared to others. Amboseli Discovery Camp is truly wonderful !! Sitting beneath Kilimanjaro and seeing her size and stature in the morning mist is a memory I will never forget. Such a lovely team of friendly, helpful, kind and caring local Maasai who maintain a really wonderful camp in an incredible location. The tents are spacious and well equipped. The campsite is charming and the perfect size to feel cosy, but also private if that is your preference. Mealtimes are very well presented as a nice simple buffet which is delicious, fresh and good quality. The lounge area and campfire overlooks their in-house waterhole which is frequently visited by large elephants, giraffes, zebras and more. The camp practices good Eco-thinking and ecological practices, using solar power where they can and with plans to expand it in future. Just a perfect, simple, campsite. Thank you so much Team!

The experience as a whole was great. Great accomodations, our tent is new and had all the things we needed. The staff was very attentive. Location is great, right at the gate of Amboseli Ntl Park, so you don't have to waste time moving for game drives.

AA Lodge has an incredible location! Just a few kilometres from kimana gate, and with stunning views of Kilimanjaro from across the property! The cottage we stayed at was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. They had a lot of choice in food for each meal and it was very tasty! We saw some beautiful birds and small animals within the property during our stay.

We stayed for three nights to explore Amboseli. The Kilimanjaro revealed itself on one morning, which was a great gift. The staff did everything to make our stay comfortable.

We had an absolutely gorgeous stay at Elewana Tortilis camp for our honeymoon. Gorgeous tents, personalised service, and the same staff all the way throughout the stay made it feel so special. The personal touches in the room, complimentary gift and candlelight dinner related to a honeymoon made the trip extra special. We were lucky enough to see all the animals in the reserve including lion, cheetah, elephants, hyena. The open top game vehicles made it really fantastic to spot all the wildlife. The viewing deck onto one of the watering holes also made it easy to spot wildlife from the Camp. Will definitely come back and recommend to everybody. Special thanks to Simon, our guide, Donald, our waiter and Kimbo, our house keeper.
