Very vibrant and well decorated. Has a large back garden with a pool and bar. Locals can buy a day pass to come use the bar and pool as well so it feels like a nice social place to meet other backpackers and locals. The private room is large and comfortable. I was able to arrange the acatenango hike through the hostel. It's a nice short walk into town and is surrounded by amazing bars and cafes but is just far enough from the main square that it's peaceful. Would definitely stay here again. You can actually see Acatenango and Fuego from the backyard. You can even see Fuego erupting. ALSO this was the first hot shower I had had in weeks. I was extremely grateful.
