Really welcoming hosts; v comfortable bed; lots of extras to use in the marquee tent with cooking facilities and seating/ dining areas; friendly vibe; clean; good bedding; fresh coffee in the morning; tidy; space to hang washing to dry. Well located for the town of La Flotte.

What a lovely surprise this place was. We booked a premium lodge, it was so clean and plenty of room for 4 adults for one night and not really like I imagined a camping lodge at all. Air conditioning unit in living area which kept the whole unit cool by leaving the bedroom doors open. I would definitely book again. A 20 minute walk to restaurants and bars. Parking outside the lodge was perfectly adequate. Its definitely worth paying the extra and going premium as then your sheets (crisp linen) and towels are included, although you do have to make up your own beds (minor detail)

The tent was lovely, friendly helpful staff. The bar was nice to go to in the evening. We were too late for the pool but it looked nice and clean.

Camping Les Peupliers is located on L’Ile de Ré Island, just 800 metres from the beach and has a seasonal outdoor pool with slides and a paddling pool.

This was a very peaceful getaway and we'll definitely come back! It was mostly for families with children (we're a young couple) and we didn't get involved with the entertainment side of things but we went with our dog and just enjoyed being there in a nice cabin in a beautiful setting.
