Absolutely wonderful location on a stunning beach, bay, lush grounds - just fabulous. The multiple restaurants were good if a little over-priced; supermarket was more reasonable. Most of the time the complex was quiet and peaceful; very family friendly, mostly German when we were there. The Prairies de la Mer complex is divided up between multiple camping agencies, each of which had slightly different "lodges" or caravans, with varying degrees of luxury, design and location. We knew of course that closest to the sea would be most expensive, and out of our price range. But if I were to go back, I think I would opt for slightly "better" lodges. We didn't realise the range of difference there would be. That said, our lodge was well-equipped and we really appreciated the lovely vegetation and landscaping around it.

The Bungalow, is a static caravan that has been tastefully modernised. It is compact but very comfortable. We really enjoyed our time there. The Starlink internet was an excellent bonus that I didn’t expect, but really appreciated. It worked extremely well giving us fast internet. The site Wi-Fi would have been very expensive and no where near as good. Full marks there.

Very beautiful spot on a mountain between the trees. The caravan is petite but had everything we needed. The swimming pool is a short walk downhill by the house of the hosts. Perfect to cool off. We stayed at the caravan about half of the vacation, it was lovely. Do bring some good mosquito repellent! You will need it. The hosts were very kind and took good care of us. After a small medical incident we had at the beach, they checked on us afterward. Thank you! Ps, There is a large black dog from the neighbors that came to visit us every evening. He is very sweet and loves cuddles. We don’t know his name but we called him Shackles. Do say hi to him for us if you visit this accommodation!

Pool and staff were lovely. Nice place, when we arrived there were a few ants in the room, but we told the front desk and they sent someone round to clear them, and make sure none come back, very hospitable. The restaurant staff were lovely, it really is a lovely place.
