The accommodation is a very comfortable construction trailer and is located in a very small town in the Czech Republic near the national park, which means that traveling by car can be useful. However, there seems to be a public transport connection. Dana is an extremely warm and friendly woman who makes you feel immediately welcome. Contact was never a problem either, as she is easy to reach and responds quickly. You are completely on your own here and enjoy a view of the countryside, which you share with two sheep and a goat. Although the weather was very cold and rainy, it was quite bearable with the wood stove and always comfortably warm. The wood is provided for, but you have to chop it yourself. Because you are not yet in the national park, you can also make a campfire at a fireplace. The furnishings are lovingly designed and more than adequate, if not lavish, for the circumstances. You cook on an induction stove and even have an oven. There is a spring directly on the property where you can draw water, because the construction trailer itself does not have its own water connection. This means that you shower with a camping shower and the toilet house, which is located a short distance away, works under the same circumstances and is a non-flushing tank. The area is definitely worth a visit, especially if you want to be surrounded by nature. For those who want to pick mushrooms or are otherwise interested in mycology, this place is an absolute must. For everyone else, of course, too. (Don't forget your rubber boots, sturdy shoes and a headlamp.)
