Everything was dreamy perfect. It is literally in the jungle where all the sounds mellow your soul. Most beautiful and peaceful place I stayed in the country.owners are super friendly and helpful. You could feel like an explorer and be in a cozy place in the same time.

What can I say? Lili, Alvaró, Maria and little Maggie became my family for the duration of my stay. They looked after me like one of their own and I was so spoilt! They even contacted me after I had left to see how my flight home was! My room directly overlooked the forest and I woke up to the sound of howler monkeys and birds and fell asleep to the sounds of insects (none of them came avisiting though!). The jacuzzi on my balcony was utterly perfect and the luxury of being in it while gazing into the jungle was unsurpassed. Each villa come with 2 air conditioned rooms - simply but perfectly decorated - and both with a smart TV. The spacious bathroom separates them and was kept immaculately clean for my whole stay. The kitchenette is outside on the balcony, and comes stocked with everything you could need, including a microwave, oven, coffee maker and rice cooker. There’s a large supermarket at the bottom of the hill and, while it’s a bit of a steep climb back up, you’ll be home in no time. The location is conveniently close to Puerto Viejo and you can walk, cycle or jump in a tuk-tuk that you can hail from the main road easily enough. The whole place is kept super-clean and discretion is the order of the day. The pools are so refreshing too! The kindness and warmth of this wonderful group of people is the biggest draw, though. Just the best form of hospitality in a country that is already so welcoming to the floods of tourists it receives. A HUGE thank you to you all for everything and I miss you all!

The domes were one of the most special places we stayed in our 3 week trip around Costa Rica. It was lovely to be in nature and this was such a nice setting. There were monkeys overhead and even a green macaws nest too. Really beautiful. Andrea was a wonderful host - very friendly and helpful. Plus, a great breakfast with the best coffee we had all trip! It is around a 40 minute walk into Manzanillo and the beach is pretty quiet - nearly private right by the domes.
