Glamping Sites in Monteverde Costa Rica

Amazing location, beautiful domes and the service was incredible! We loved every moment being there.

This was my favorite part of my trip in Costa Rica. It is magical here and I hope I have that chance to visit again. My only regret is not staying longer. I had the breakfast one morning, which was lovely. The facilities are minimal. This is easily managed if planned for. There is no fridge in the little pod I stayed in, but there is a microwave. The microwave was enough for me to have a couple small meals. People have mentioned more counter space would be nice. I found it good enough. I had my things organized under the bed. Having the travel packing pods was useful. It is remote, and I suggest bringing in your own drinking water. I didn't get sick or anything, but as a precaution, that is my advice. There are lovely outdoor seating areas. I traveled with a small collapsible chair. It was great for this location, as well as when I visited beaches in other parts of the country. There are great knock off versions of the helinox chairs. If you bring one for your trip you won't regret it. This place is very special, and I offer these little tips so that you can enjoy this accommodation as much as I have. I cannot express enough how beautiful and magical the location is with the surrounding jungle covered mountains. For context. I am a solo female traveler. I felt very safe in this remote location. I had a suv rental from Adobe (very excellent car rental). I didn't need the 4wd, but had it been raining, then I likely would have used it a bit. Definitely need the high clearance on the vehicle. There was only 1 spot that required the clearance when i visited. I used the downhill assist when driving into the valley. That was very useful, and easier on the brakes. Driving back from Santa Elena in the dark was fine for me. Thank you to the hosts for having such beautiful and unique accommodations.

This place is a 10 star accommodation and the tree top restaurant micheline stars, a must!

An unforgettable glamping experience in Costa Rica. I was looking for peace and a connection with nature — and found so much more. The sound of the river, forest trails, and bird-filled mornings were magical. The dome is comfortable, clean, with a kitchen, spacious bathroom, and hot water. Thank you Jenny & Nicolás for creating such a special place. I’ll be back!

Everything! The view. The accommodation. The location. The owners. Absolute paradise

The view was awesome! We were in total ‘awe’ when we entered. The way they dome is organised is great, you have a big bathroom and kitchen, while you can enjoy all of the view out of your bed. The bed was out of this world, haven’t slept as well during our whole trip then there. It was very clean and very well equipped! The outdoor bath was perfect under the sky full of stars. The hosts are wonderful, when you need something they will fix it for you in a minute. It was my birthday during our stay and they decorated the dome with balloons and gave Costa Rican donuts as a gift 🥰 Couldn’t have celebrated my birthday anyplace better!

Pura Vista Glamping was a great find and place to spend the night. Wendy and Roger were super helpful in helping us find a place to eat and in suggesting things to do while we were there. High recommend the Essence Arenal Jungle Night Tour right across the street from Pura Vista. It was an exceptional 90-minute tour with Aurelio. The photo was the view from our little dome deck

What a fantastic and beautiful place. So peaceful. Out in nature. I had the tent which was great with a comfy double bed, lockable wardrobe, and balcony. These tents aren't your normal camping experience. There is a small spa on site which was very relaxing. The area is on a eco farm which they are slowly increasing in size. The food was good all locally grown (much of it by themselves) vegetarian and organic. The staff were super friendly and helpful. When the clouds cleared what a stunning view of Arenal volcano and lake Arenal. I had such a relaxing time. It's about a 40 minute drive from la fortuna.

Lovely place, excellent service,, clean, new. The rooms are big and comfortable. Definitely a place to go again. You can do tracking or relax, the view of the volcano is awesome. The service was outstanding 11 out of 10
