This is a camp in the desert but it’s comfortable enough. The host is both helpful and engaging. He’s developed an impressive place to stay. The kind of guests is another great attraction in this place.

We stayed in safari tents which were well set nicely apart and very comfortable. The restaurant area was great - our teens loved that there was soccer on the screen in the bar area. It was great having a restaurant menu rather than set menus like most other lodges in the region. Breakfast was excellent. A self-drive visit to the pans was a highlight :)

Very convenient and super easy checking. We had everything we needed for our stay in our safari tents. The outdoor shower was superb, and despite it being a winter's morning, it was powerful, heated just right and a great experience even if it had no roof! The breakfast was just perfect and set us up for the day ahead! Thank you 😊

The location was great. A lovely, sense-of-the-wild spot. Ambience of the setting is great. The safari tent in which we stayed was beautifully appointed and the attention to detail was superb. One definitely did not get the impression that it was accommodation largely disregarded by management (as is sometimes the case).

Really lovely and unique place. Rupert, cleaning staff, and the cute doggies and kitties make the place shine. We felt so welcomed and made many new friends there over the campfire at night.

Our tent was more deluxe than we expected! We had power and places to charge our phones, an ensuite, really nice linen on the (comfy!) bed, a huge verandah out the front and a nice hammock out the back. It was a great space to relax and watch the afternoon storms. We loved the trip to the Nata wildlife sanctuary and also the shared dinners. Spend more than one night so you can truly relax (and canoe on the river).

A laid back, rustic hippie-style camp next to the Nata river a short distance outside of the village of Nata. You can stay in private or shared tents, or more upscale, artfully-arranged cabins that are more expensive and offer a much more comfortable stay. Great place to meet other travelers; great sense of community. Staff managing facility is very lovely and helpful. Shared kitchen and pool are available, as well as canoes to go on the river. There are common areas to hang out; place should have electricity and wifi most of the day.

Rupert is great host. Extremely accommodating. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was great. I stayed in the chalet and the room was clean and neat and the bed was comfy. Had a great shower. Overall I'd go back in a heart beat. Well done big thumbs up.

Love the layout, awesome chill area to read and knock some golf balls. Right on the Nata river with canoes included in camping price, go out for a paddle (if there's water). Rupert and his helpers Luvet and Isac were super friendly and familiar. Even went to watch the rugby all together. Thank you guys!!!
