Hostel da Vila was an amazing experience! Me and my friend arrived at the hostel and were immediately met by the friendly staff who the showed us around the place. The hostel has everything you can ask for. It has a pool with a slack line across, a huge slide, a skate ramp, a pool table, a tattoo shop, a bar that makes the best food and drinks. I especially recommend the Vila Mule! The location is perfect. It’s a 2 minute walk down to the center where you can easily catch a bus to the rest of the island. At night we would play games and have fun at the hostel with the staff and residents until 11/12 ish where we would all go to the city center and dance samba in the street or listen to forró and mingle with everyone. We are definitely coming back.

Johnny even though he wasn't there helped with just about everything as Sergio doesn't speak much English but on the whole both Sergio and Johnny were amazing. I would definitely return and really miss my little paradise already.
