A flat-screen TV and minibar are featured in each guest room at Clarion Hotel & Congress Trondheim. All include tea/coffee making facilities, ventilation system and city or fjord views. The bed was comfortable, the room had a beautiful view over the harbour. The ventilation in the bathroom was great. The breakfast was very varied, probably the best I had in Norway. The room had great sound insulation, no noises from neighbouring rooms.

This is my third stay at this hotel, and I would definitely recommend it for both business and leisure trips.

Situated on the north side of Steinkjer, 1 km from the central square, this hotel offers free Wi-Fi, free parking, 8 Electric vehicle charging stations , rooms with satellite TV and a free evening buffet. The most amazing breakfast buffet - a feast with so many wonderful items! Also, an excellent evening buffet included in the price. Comfortable room, bed, large patio with views, quiet, nice staff who were able to save me some food, as I arrived after 21:30 when buffet closes.

The in-house Bergrosa Restaurant uses fresh, local produce in its traditional Norwegian dishes. After dinner, guests can enjoy a drink in the lobby bar. We found it very hard to find any fault with this hotel. It is positioned on a hill overlooking the main town and mining area of Roros, a short 5min walk down the road (or alternatively, there is a trail). Our room and bathroom were large and fully functional, the buffet breakfast was one of the best we've had in Norway, and the added bonus was a basement gym (with both machines and a small weight room), along with a 1-washing machine laundry area. We only had one night here, but could easily have stayed for several. If you are bringing mountain bikes with you, there are some awesome trails in the area! The really cool thing about this hotel is that it isn't used by tour groups, meaning you don't have mass groups filling up the breakfast restaurant.

Renovated in 2014, all rooms at Royal Garden feature typically Nordic décor, a minibar and trouser press. Most rooms have parquet floors. The hotel is located in the city center, by the river, near the cathedral, there were no problems with parking.
