Centrally located in Longyearbyen, Basecamp Hotel is a traditional trapper's lodge-style property just 15 minutes’ drive from Longyearbyen Airport. The airport bus stops right outside. The hotel offers individually decorated rooms with driftwood furniture, fur rugs and free WiFi. This hotel deserves an amazing review ! Staff was extremely helpful with the bookings and restaurants and chef breakfast was fine dining food ! Special thanks to the lovely christmas gift and to rachel for making this trip special !

A tour desk, snowmobile safaris and dog sledding are offered on site. Cozy hotel, convenient as it's on the main street and good breakfast. Staff were helpful and efficient. We stayed in the corner room so the view was fantastic.

Whether you are dining in the hotel restaurant or outdoors, you can enjoy impressive panoramic fjord views with your meal or drink. The hotel’s location is excellent, right in the city center. The reception staff is helpful and friendly. Having a coffee machine is a nice touch, and the breakfast is delicious. It’s great that the hotel offers the option to check in for the flight.
