Every detail - the design, the delicious breakfast, the wonderful staff and manager, and most importantly the most beautiful location - was perfect. Our first time in Geiranger but certainly not our last, and we’ll be sure to stay at the Grande Fjord next time as well

The trails of Aksla Mountain are just a short walk from the boutique hotel, and public parking is easily accessible. The nearest airport is Vigra Airport, 12 km away. location, cleaness, decoration style

Angvik Gamle Handelssted is located by Tingvollfjorden in Nordmøre and offers a lakeside spa, free parking and stunning fjord views. The charming design hotel and surrounding coastal village has a history dating back to the 16th century.

Most of the individually designed rooms feature lake views and free WiFi. All rooms come with a private bathroom with free toiletries, and a stylish seating area. A beautiful hotel on the fjord. Amazing views and comfortable lounges to sit in and take in the scenery. The set 3-course evening meal was delicious - although we found 8.00 pm quite a late time to eat.

This hotel is located next to the Atlantic Ocean Road on the beautiful island of Håholmen. It offers unique fishing trips, sea safaris and boat cruises.

Håholmen Havstuer’s cosy, cabin-style rooms feature free Wi-Fi internet access, wooden floors and a private bathroom. Some are housed in traditional buildings dating back to the 18th and 19th centuries. Fantastic place with lots of history. Stayed in 300 year old room. Very good food in restaurant. Klippfisk was absolutely superb. Breakfast was very good with many choices hot and cold. Highly recommend to stay at this place if you travel the Atlanterhavsroad.

The hotel is situated in a very beautiful area, surrounded by mountains and close to the port and gondola. The views are fantastic, the restaurant very nice, the breakfast is excellent, convenient parking in front, good services! Very close to Trollstigen and 2 hours from Atlantic Road.

The Ålesund Church is less than a 2-minute walk from Quality Hotel Waterfront. Hotel staff can recommend other area sights and activities. The Ålesund Ferry Terminal is less than a 10-minute walk away. I'll come back to stay again this hotel. The property is clean and comfortable.

Hotel Noreg's brightly coloured rooms feature wooden floors, cable TV and private bathroom. Breakfast prepared by a professional chef is included for guests. We loved our stay at the Comfort Hotel in Ålesund. Our room was super spacious, bright, clean, quiet and comfortable with lots of storage. The breakfast was great with hot and cold options. The public spaces were beautifully presented with original artwork adorning every wall, spacious rooms for breakfast and others for catered events. There is a bar/reception area which serves beer, wine and cocktails. The hotel is extremely conveniently located to the rest of the town, but is on a quiet street right near the water. There are good restaurants right across the road, or round the corner and parking is free overnight on the street, (though there are parking garages as well, close by). Ålesund, is a lovely town, easy to walk with good shops and restaurants as well as interesting sites, and excursions are available for exploring further afield. A must do: Either with kids or without is the Aquarium, there is a shuttle bus available as it is a bit out of town, we drove there (it was easy to get to), but it is one of the best Aquariums I have ever visited (and I've visited quite a few) particularly the outside exhibits, where you can get close up to penguins, seals and otters. It is so well designed and laid out, you could easily spend hours here, and it's in a beautiful spot right on the Atlantic Ocean !
