The location is also great, located very close to all sights, perfect to explore the island all to yourself during the sunrise or sunset. We really appreciated the free shuttle bus to and from the hotel

Located in the World Heritage Miyajima Island, Iwaso features Japanese-style accommodations with beautiful surrounding views. Guests can relax in the indoor and outdoor hot-spring baths and request for massages. A free shuttle is available from Miyajima Ferry Terminal, which is also a 5-minute walk away. Amazing experience in a very nice Ryokan! The building itself is amazing, very close the the main interest points. All the staff is simply wonderful, they will do their best to make you feel at home. Last but not least, the food: I highly recommend to eat both dinner and breakfast at the ryokan: one of the best foods tried in Japan!

Was a wonderful experience and would highly recommend, especially if you are traveling with another or your family.

The ryokan has family rooms as well as facilities for disabled guests. The staff was exceptionally professional and friendly. The room was cozy and offered a beautiful view. The dinner was delicious and beautifully presented and portions were generous. The hotel did not forget the two dishes we added when we booked the hotel. The added dishes of fried sea bream bones and the braised fish head were nicely prepared and were very good value for money. The quality of the dishes was superb. Most enjoyable and relaxing stay. I wish I had time for one more night! Must come back.

The space was generous, giving it a comfortable, open feel that’s hard to find. Every corner of the room was thoughtfully designed, blending modern aesthetics with cozy touches that made me feel right at home. The amenities were equally impressive, with every convenience you could need thoughtfully provided. From the sleek decor to the high-end fixtures, it was clear that every detail had been carefully considered. I can’t say enough good things about the experience.
