We got a free upgrade to a Superior room. The people working there are really nice , and provides extra service. One of them even helped our 10 year old with making a grilled cheese sandwich at the brekfast. She waited with him the while it took for the cheese to melt, and talked with him ❤️ The visitt was really good, so were the room and facilities.

The hotel was one of the best we’ve stayed at. The staff were lovely, and the building was amazing. All the finishing touches in the room made our stay so much more enjoyable. The history behind the building was amazing.

The room was quiet and comfortable. The curtains worked well against the almost perpetual daylight, so sleeping was not a problem. We had to leave early to catch a train, and they volunteered to give us a take-away breakfast, which was ready when we checked out. There are plenty of eating places nearby, and we lucked on a really nice restaurant.

Situated in central Umeå, First Hotel Dragonen offers bright rooms with free WiFi, a private bathroom and cable TV. Umeå Central Station is a 5-minute walk away.

The hotel staff are exceptional, especially Sarah and Leah at the front desk. Moreover, I had a good 8 hours of sleep because the hotel was so quiet. Breakfast and dinner were part of the booking, so it's a plus. Tye location is good as everything is in a short distance.

Great location, easy to find. Large, free parking place right outside. Hard working, friendly receptionist who also tended the bar while checking us in. Very good breakfast, which we were also allowed to eat on the spacious porch. One of the only hotels I've stayed in that actually has a garden that the guests may use for sun bathing, frisbee golf or just whatever.

Situated in Umeå, only 1 minute walk from Kungsgatan pedestrian street, Comfort Hotel Winn offers contemporary decorated rooms with free WiFi, right above the newly opened Utopia Shopping Mall.

This hotel is about 10 minutes' walk from Umeå Central Station and 3 km from Umeå Airport. Rooms at Scandic Plaza Umeå feature wooden floors, cable TV and a modern bathroom with a shower.

I called a few hotels in the city trying to request an early checkin, as my train to Umeå was to arrive very early in the morning. Scandic offered the smartest policy for an early checkin, staff was really helpful compared to other hotels that I called, and there were bikes for rent at the hotel, so I didn’t hesitate with my reservation. My room had a beautiful panoramic view and was spacious. Breakfast was good and was generously served until 11 am which was just great, letting more time to sleep. I was very happy with my choice and my stay in Umeå.

Set in a former medical officer’s villa, this central Umeå hotel is 100 metres from the Ume River. Sauna, relaxation area and WiFi access are free, as is a light evening buffet.
