Beautiful small hotel. We were very warmly welcomed by the front desl lady, whom went the extra mile to make sure everything was OK for us and our two bicycles. We got a very nice room with a small balcony and an awesome view over the fjord. Breakfast was very good. Free coffee and tea all day for hotel guests.

Overall very clean,no dust even upon the shelves.Hot water with good pressure,heating.No bad smells,No insects,flies,mosquitos.,Very quiet day-night.Perfect view to the fjord,from our balcony.We stayed off-season,April.The region is perfect for relaxing-fishing,has a bay on sight.Driving Risor 20min..All at the kitchenette works,big refrigerator.Good beds and comfort.Cabin maybe small and little old but all is very practical.Good sofa for relaxing.Dinning table and chairs.Tv works,connection to WiFi is good.Plenty sockets.Parking next to the cabin.Easy late check-in at 21.00.

This hotel is outstanding from the staff who were excellent to the refurbished hotel which has been done to keep its charm. There is a carpark building next to the hotel which is very convenient. It is a short walk into the charming town of Arendel to enjoy a meal Harbourside or enjoy a supper at the hotel we had a hearty soup and bread along with eggs, salmon and a hot potato mix. It was perfectly adequate for our needs. We have been touring around Norway for 2 weeks and this hotel would rate as the best hotel we have stayed in throughout our holiday. Well done to the hotel and to the staff.

Superb hotel on waterfront . Ideal for exploring this beautiful town. If you're into yachts and boats you'll love it here. Also had safe secure underground parking for our motorcycle. Great breakfast. Don't miss the free viewing point lift over the fjord
