The lake views are truly breathtaking. You can be mesmerized watching the birds at sunrise. I enjoyed them from my room, the dining room, and also from the hotel's infinity pool. Everything at the resort is truly designed and cared for with well-being and mental tranquility in mind. I also want to highlight how beautiful the rooms and common areas are, and the quality of the amenities. The resort is set to relaxing music to help you unwind. I had dinner and breakfast at the hotel, and everything I tried was simply delicious and beautifully presented. I also loved the massages I chose at the spa. But without a doubt, what stands out most is the friendliness of the staff. They genuinely try to resolve any problem you might have, always with a smile and concerned for your comfort. They are all incredibly professional and charming. I must mention the work of the manager, Harsha, who is attentive to everything and truly makes you feel at home, cared for and attended to perfectly. They even lent me a computer so I could take care of some work. 100% recommended.

This was the most beautiful jungle retreat, we stayed here for one night and wish we had more time. Surrounded by nature and the rooms are to die for, exceptionally clean and furnished to a high standard. Big shout out to the staff who were lovely and always had the biggest smile.

Ehko Sigiriya was a fantastic place to stay! The room was clean, neat, and spacious—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The staff were super friendly, spoke excellent English, and truly engaged with guests. They showed genuine interest and went out of their way to make my stay smooth and enjoyable. The buffet was another highlight: diverse, tasty, and offering a great mix of local and Western dishes. Location-wise, it’s ideal: very close to the exit of Lion’s Rock, with shops, cafés, and restaurants just around the corner. Highly recommended!

The staff were amazing ..the food was great and the owner was super helpful in sourcing gluten free options for my sister. Roshan the owner was brilliant, helped us with anything and everything we required. Would highly recommend to anyone that is thinking of visiting lions rock, as it is well located about 10 mins away from this. We loved our stay .

I was lucky to book the Vista Tree House, which is a wooden tree house at the edge of the property with maximum privacy and a balcony with views over the fields till Sigiriya rock. Breathtaking. Nature at its finest, amazing sunrises. You can enjoy them with your own coffee or tea, after you just woke from the very comfortable bed. So yes, don’t look for ultrafinished luxury here, but charming creeky wooden floors and sounds of animals at night. You are literally in a tree 🌳 But you have every amenity you need, plus the grounds have beautiful gardens, a nice pool, and super attentive staff. Dinners are a treat as well, with this chef no need to go look elsewhere! Loved everything about this place 😍
