After having left noisy Kandy and traffic behind, this place was a haven of peace. The lack of noise was what hit me first. Staff were helpful and welcoming. The views were stunning. Hanthana mountain is in front at the other side of a deep valley and the Knuckles Range to the right. Crickets were chirping when I went to sleep, and I woke up to a chorus of birds. All in all, I came back in a better mindset that I went in with.

This was such a lovely place to stay at, it’s still relatively new and the room and bathrooms is modern and a decent size place. The staff are amazing and willing to help with anything, they even helped to negotiate with the tuktuk drivers for me. They even have a newly built restaurant, which I didn’t get to try out but I’m sure was really good. As it was off peak season, the staff had even upgraded me to a room facing the city/mountains. Really value for money! And worth staying at if you in the area

As for April 2024, it's a brand new hotel. The room is large, the bed is comfy, I had a nice view of the lake, and even being on the main road, the windows are soundproof glasses, so the room is quiet.
