The room was a contemporary spacious split level with a living area on the first level and the bedroom and bathroom two steps up on a separate level. The room was quiet, and large windows overlooking an interior service courtyard. The round queen bed was very comfortable. All was very clean and well maintained. In a beautiful dining room, breakfast was the best of the trip; the hotel provided the traditional Italian style in abundance, with the option to order off a menu to cook to order. The wait staff was very attentive, providing 5-star service. The hotel is across from the port, the aquarium, the maritime museum, Eataly, and the harbor, and is close to the Palazzo Reale and other sites. There were a number of restaurants nearby; my finds were Trattoria le Maschere and Al Sottoripa. The staff was accommodating in arranging transportation to the airport.
