Very nice new hotel, the decor was beautiful. Friendly and helpful staff. The location is good, close to the sea (maybe a 2-3 min walk to the beach). Our room was nice, but maybe a little small. Very nice bathroom and shower. The breakfast was very good, with so many options.

We loved our stay at Villa Katarina! It is as described in the pictures and close to the beach and its picturesque promenade, like 2 minutes. 15 minute walk to Makarska city center. 2 minutes walk to Tommy (grocery store and common pickup point for excursions). Initially, we booked for two weeks but then extended our stay at Villa Katarina because we really liked it a lot. Jana, the lovely lady who is managing the apartments is just an amazing host, so friendly and helpful with absolutely everything. She really went out of her way and beyond to make sure we had a good stay and everything that we needed. My child got a fever (a cold) during our stay and it felt very reassuring to know Jana would help me find a good doctor if need be (it was not necessary thankfully) and she even lended us her private omeron-device, just in case. This accommodation is very family friendly. Crib and child chair were provided, and we even received dipers from Jana (!). Super appreciated and fun to try a new brand! We ended up staying in the comfort apartment with a separate bedroom and it is very spacious, child-friendly (not much to eat on/fall on and the cabinets are difficult to open for kids :)). It has sea-view/pool view from the large balcony as well as Mountain view from the small one. We stayed in the studio apartment with garden view for one night and that was good too. Clean and all amenities accounted for. No need to climb any stars either! We also had a look at the studio with pool view and it looked really cute, perfectly suitable for two adults and one or two children. The pool area is great! It also has a baby pool that the little guest in our party was very thrilled about. During our stay, the pools were cleaned every day. If we come back to Makarska we would definitely book at Villa Katarina again.

The breakfast was more than one could just wish: vegetables, various fruits, musli, smoothie, pancake, rolls etc. nicely served . White Stone Villa is quiet place and perfect for those who want to relax. Dubrovnik, Split, Trogir are a couple of hours driving away. The host is very nice and helpful and speaks English, German and Croatian (of course :D ) fluently. Don't hesitate to book a room!

Fantastic location - hotel in front of the sea, direct access to the beaches and few hundred meters from the village center Excellent Food (we had breakfast and 1/2 board) with new menu every day, fresh food, lot of choice Rooms were recently renovated, there are nice, big enough and Sea view is amazing (I would recommend to request rooms on 1st or 2nd floor numbers 130-137 or 140-147 that offer no lateral sea view and have sun in the afternoon/evening). Personnel at the restaurant is very nice and kind for the guests.

The ideal location provides quick and easy access to the beach. The surroundings are peaceful and relaxing, perfect for a vacation. The staff is amiable and helpful. Every staff member goes out of their way to make the guest's stay as pleasant as possible. The hotel is impeccably clean and well-maintained. The rooms are freshly renovated, modernly equipped, and very comfortable. The quality of the food is excellent. There is a wide variety of dishes for both breakfast and dinner.
