Perfect pit stop on a long ride. Very rich breakfast, big and comfortable rooms, easy parking, 24h reception, everything was taken care of in a professional fashion. This hotel exceeded our expectation and is a definite recommendation for passing by travelers. We forgot some items in the rooms and they even called and organized everything about the return for us. For me most important is mattress , and in my room it was so good.all roads stress was gone after night.

The staff went out of there way to make us welcome. We arrived late due to travel issues and they made sure we had a late supper.

Set in Saint-Bardoux, in a historic building, 23 km from Valence Parc Expo, L'Ermitage de Saint-Bardoux is a recently renovated bed and breakfast with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and free bikes.

The property is beautifully restored, everything has been thought of to make for a comfortable stay. Irina and Oliver were excellent hosts, booked us into their favorite restaurants and recommended activities to do in the area. We were free to roam the property, pick fresh fruit from the amazing apricot trees, see the chickens (who will lay your breakfast eggs) and the resident bee hives. The breakfasts on the terrace were delicious and included home made bread, jams, cake, a variety of croissants and the best scrambled eggs!
