The hotel was centrally located by the Calle De Las Tiendas, which means easy access to loads of bars and restaurants, and also that the Alcabanza (a key sight to see!) is only a short walk away. The staff were great, really friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and well cleaned and maintained. There's a rooftop pool which also has a fancy drinks vending machine (including cava and spirits). Finally, the hotel has a spa/baths as their main attraction. These baths are incredible, and we did the baths experience in two nights when there, featuring thermal pools, a salt bath, steam room and jacuzzi baths. Guests at the hotel get up to 25% off the spa prices (day dependent) if they book when staying at the hotel, so when me and my partner did the 90 mins spa baths experience, it was only €75 - which is a bargain for what you'd pay in England!

Nuevo Torreluz is located in Plaza Flores, just 5 minutes’ walk from Almería Cathedral and the Alcazaba. It offers modern rooms with free WiFi, satellite TV and a private bathroom.

The hotel is good location. The room was very clean but bed was bit too much soft. The staff were great and very helpful. Good breakfest.

Hotel Cathedral Almería is set 500 metres from the sea, in Almería centre. It offers a rooftop pool, and computers with ADSL internet access in rooms. The hotel is a restored mansion, built in 1850.

Great place with a ‘classic hotel’ atmosphere, located at the beautiful and quiet Cathedral Square, a few minutes walk to a good tapas street. The staff at the reception is very friendly, courteous and flexible. We were allowed to keep our car in the parking facility (across the square) beyond check- out time. Will return!

The hotel is really nice and the room was exactly as described. Very clean hotel and friendly staff and having a parking underneath was also a plus. Not far from the historic centre, 20mins walk. Would definitely stay there again.

The Exe Almería Centro is located in the cultural and commercial centre of Almería, 6 minutes’ walk from the Alcazaba fortifications.

Fantastic location, views (especially from the upper floor rooms, looking to the sea). Friendly staff. Freshly renovated hotel with tradition, everything is new and working in the room. No problem at all, despite some other recent reviews, perhaps things are corrected quickly. Very good breakfast.

Facing the beachfront, Moon Hotel & SPA. Offers 4-star accommodation in Aguadulce and has a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre and shared lounge.

Kindness at the reception with free upgrade to a superior room with harbour view. Very comfortable bed, nice pool area, excellent breakfast with plenty of choice.
