I usually don’t review hotels but the Conti deserves a review. Whilst it’s the oldest hotel in Broome, so definitely has a retro vibe on the outside, the rooms and bar are all newly renovated. Very modern and clean feel with a choice of USB A and C charging ports next to your bed and even different options of pillows. The Bistro is excellent with a lovely patio area by the pool. The vibe was always welcoming and relaxed. The staff are a real credit too. So warm and friendly. You can also pay a little bit extra and get a later check out which was ideal for me with a late afternoon flight. Great value for money compared to the more expensive hotels like Oaks and Mangrove. The Conti is well located next to Matsos and is about a 10 minute walk to Chinatown.

Exceptional service by all staff, everyone we passed by had a huge smile and greeting for us. Didn't have a bad meal the whole time we were there. Plenty of activities to keep us occupied between lounges by the pool. Cichetti for dinner was absolutely delicious, can highly recommend the gnocci served with beautiful Wilyabrup wines. We ordered the lunch hamper for Christmas day and it was a bargain for $99 filled with prawns, smoked salmon, salads, loaf of baked bread and heaps more. Our room was clean and comfortable and serviced daily, we had resident wallabies and bungarras walking around and through the grounds. I loved that the bungalows were a good distance apart too. We felt like every effort was made for us and loved our stay. Hope to be back again soon!

The room was large. I was given a free upgrade. Bed was comfortable. Had small fridge and cutlery if you wanted a simple meal in room. Laundry facilities do have to pay $5 a load. Two Pools restaurant and bar with sea views.
