We were in Austria for a few days after our trip to the Tatra Mountains, as rail fans, we were pleasantly surprised to find a railway passing through the hotel car parks. there are regular freight train movements to the local Power Plant and the port on the river Danube. So a win win for us. Hotel staff, breakfast and Restaurant were excellent. Some good walks available on the golf course footpaths. We are not golfers, but it looks a nice location for those interested in the sport.

The City Hotel can be found right in the centre of Stokerau. It features a sauna, steam bath, infrared cabin and fitness room.

I highly recommend this hotel. The location is perfect, close to the metro station, the room was very warm and welcoming, new and cosy furniture, 5* conditions at very affordable costs. Extremely friendly people at the reception: Vladimir and Ana Marie were always ready to help and wonderful persons! I will definitely book this hotel again, whenever I visit Vienna.

The hotel is a picturesque place on the outskirts of Vienna. Although it takes almost 1 hour to get to the center, the connections are very good. There are plenty of restaurants very close to the location, offering traditional and international food of very good quality. The breakfast is exceptional, we stayed for 4 days and we didn't get bored of the food on offer. Room and bathroom cleaned daily. The weather was very cold and ugly, but the room was well heated, as was the entire hotel. It is clear that the owners do this job with pleasure. We must comeback during summer ...
