Great location - beautiful views, right in old town, close to ferry stop and tour boat. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Restaurant was great - fresh seafood and everyone enjoyed their meals while enjoying the lake views. Will definitely be back and recommend to friends and guests visiting Hallstatt.

The hotel was exceptional! The rooms may be basic, but they are equipped with everything you need, clean, and very well-maintained. The staff was always friendly and ready to assist with anything. The spa was an amazing experience – of very high quality, spacious, clean, and relaxing. It was clear that the hotel paid attention to every small detail to ensure a perfect experience. It's worth noting that the spa is nude-only, which might be unfamiliar to some, but once you get over the initial hesitation, it’s an unforgettable experience. The breakfast was delicious and varied, and the staff was courteous and welcoming. An excellent experience all around – we’ll definitely be back!

We stayed at Grand Elisabeth in august and everything was exceptional. The room was new and clean, the stadd was friendly and the breakfast was amazing. They have a special secured room for bikes.
