We had a truly wonderful stay at Zugspitz resort. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the amazing staff. The entire hotel is clearly designed with families in mind – everything was spotless, modern, and perfectly maintained. There were plenty of activities for the kids, all thoughtfully planned and well-structured. Our children absolutely loved every moment and are already asking when we can go back! The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive, always ready to help with anything we needed. It really made us feel at home. The surroundings were peaceful and stunning – beautiful views and a strong connection to nature added to the relaxing atmosphere. One of the highlights was the food – everything was delicious. You could really feel the care and attention to detail in every part of the experience. This is truly a special place, where families are genuinely cared for and kids are treated with such love and attention. We loved our experience and can’t wait to return!

The room was modern and had all the amenities I required. Despite the sudden drop in temperatures outside for the time of year the hotel was warm and comforting on the inside. Upon arrival my attention was drawn to the availability of the sauna and that robes etc were available in the room. The dinner was the highlight for me, well presented and of a high quality, there was certainly no need to eat anywhere else. The beer was good too, along with an excellent house white wine. The choice at breakfast was wide and varied and a good selection to suit me which was regularly replenished. The ambience throughout was good. Whilst I did not experience any other facilities in the town, a walk around the centre showed Ehrwald to be an attractive area with a good choice of shops and restaurants. I will certainly be back again and perhaps in the winter season for skiing.

Our experience at this establishment was truly exceptional! The service was absolutely outstanding, with the owners actively involved in ensuring their staff provided the best possible experience. Our room offered breathtaking views, which made morning coffee truly amazing. Regarding the first bonus question if the price matched expectations I actaally thought I was getting a very good deal as I bought it. If anything it turned out even better. As for the rest: Location is fantastic with the lush green of the valley floor and the sides in contrast to the white and black mountain tops was superb. A very nive 9-hole, very flat golfcourse in the valley, but with lots og OB and water it was still a challenge. Due to unlucky rain my main day there I did not get to try any of the numerous walks in the area. My two days was at least few days too short a stay. The hotel is in the usual Alpine fashion, which means very comfortable. Service was very good all around, and the dinner very capable made indeed. Also took care of my dietary obstacles in stride,

Arrived early and check-in was done without any delay. Private parking was easily available outside. Selected the option of Half-board. Room was big enough with all the amenities. The balcony had a beautiful Panoramic view of the mountains. A complimentary water bottle was provided in the room. Midday snacks were provided from 3:30pm to 4:30pm. In the evening, a dinner was provided at the hotel which was included in the Half-board. Overall a very nice family-run hotel with an excellent service.

Second time staying here as we loved it so much in 2022. It didn't disappoint. Love the spa and pool area. Food is amazing and the staff are great. And the views - there's not many better views from a hotel in the world as there is from here. A third trip will definitely happen.
