It is a brand new hotel so everything was new. The room was spacious and quiet, notwithstanding its location. The breakfast buffet was outstanding with innumerable choices of excellent quality. We had dinner at the less formal resto the previous night which was also excellent. The staff was very accommodating to change or eliminate certain ingredients. We had a morning flight back home and the departure floor was just a short walk. All in all a great choice for our last night in Peru after close to three weeks on the road.

If you have a room on a higher floor, the view of the city is spectacular. Guests on particular floors get access to Westin Lounge on the 29th floor, which allows you to have 3 meals a day of a very high quality. The location is convenient but it all depends where you want to go in the city. Don't take taxis recommended from the concierge because they are twice as expensive as the ones you can catch on the street. Beware that Lima is a big city and the traffic moves very slowly whenever you go. The staff is very helpful and the hotel experience overall is excellent.

Swissôtel Lima is a 5-star hotel located in the heart of San Isidro, Lima's business and residential district. It is nearby Huaca Huallamarca and just 7 miles away from Jorge Chavez International Airport. We were very well accommodated when we realized that even though we had requested a walk in shower, the one we were being given didn’t have one. So they upgraded us to a fabulous suite which was an absolute delight. Like being at home!! The breakfasts were fantastic and all the personnel were so agreeable and helpful.
