The Golden Crown Hotel is a 5-star hotel located in Ampitya, Kandy, Srilanka. During my recent stay I had the pleasure of interacting with Taranga, the front office in charge. Their warmth and efficiency made check-in a breeze, and throughout my stay, they were always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests. The reception team as a whole was incredibly welcoming and hospitable, creating a comfortable atmosphere from the moment I arrived. Special mention goes to Roshan the restaurant manager, whose friendly demeanor and attentive service added to the overall exceptional experience. I highly recommend the Golden Crown Hotel for its outstanding staff and impeccable service.

An absolute highlight during our trip to Sri Lanka - beautifully redone colonial estate with amazing indoor and outdoor areas (including a large pool - great for swimming laps or just enjoying the panoramic views across the hills and jungle). Super nice owners and staff - loved also the dinner! Overall cannot recommend The Flame Tree Estate enough - an absolute gem!

Nihal took exceptional care of us from the very first moment. Everyone was incredibly friendly, and we felt warmly welcomed. The property, the garden, and the pool are truly magical. We enjoyed lunch and breakfast, and both meals were absolutely delicious. The chef Idika came personally to check in to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. The location is in Kandy, just a five-minute tuk-tuk ride from the city centre. The hotel also kindly offered to drive us back and forth. Overall, a five-star-plus experience.
