The 5-star hotel is located 1 km from Sorrento Harbour where guests can catch ferries to the island of Capri. Positano is a 30-minute drive away. When staying more than 2 nights, a welcome drink is offered. We came here on our honeymoon and while we had read reviews beforehand, we can honestly say Grand Hotel blew us away. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful but the attention to detail (like turn down service!!) was second to none.

Half way between Pompeii and Sorrento in the Bay of Naples, Hotel Capo La Gala offers a large outdoor swimming pool and a small hydromassage pool. Enjoy the marine style created by architect Marco De Luca. This hotel is fantastic, and with all the amenities we needed. Wonderful view from the room, everything is pristine and well curated, the staff is extremely kind and helpful. All the conditions are combined for guests to fully relax. When we arrived we were welcomed in the main terrace next to the lobby, where we enjoyed a welcome drink whilst the staff was taking care of the car and the luggage. Then we were shown the facilities and the room (the view is much better then in the pictures). The staff is also great - there was always someone available wherever we were (pool, restaurant, bar, lobby, gym, spa...). The hotel is close to Vico Equense, a small town with very nice places to go out in the evening, and a few beautiful view points. Surprisingly you are not very far from Amalfi neither, we managed to do a half day trip and it is worth the trouble.

Sorrento is 1 km away, a free shuttle into town is provided. We have visited this hotel 2 times. It is simply espectacular. We love this hotel. Excellent location and nice view. Very good service.
