Staff deserve a 10, especially Teresa and Francesco who were super nice and attentive to all our needs or questions. Very comfortable room with amazing view over Matera

Absolute stunning restored 15th century boutique Hotel. It was lovely to meet the owner Nicola who told us the history of the building. The only grandchild of a poor family whose grandfather worked in the basement in the winery for a wealthy Italian family and when they left it Nicola bought it. They took 12 years to restore the property and the result is stunning. A unique experience, very quiet location, perfect for a restful getaway. 5 stars to the chef, the food was perfect, best we have had on the road in the last 7 weeks, worthy of a Michelin star.
