The luxurious 5-star Muckross Park Hotel and Spa is located in Killarney's National Park. It offers elegant air-conditioned rooms, the AA Rosette winner Yew Tree Restaurant, and Major Colgan's Gastropub. What a fabulous hotel with exceptional service. Huge credit to all the staff who were so welcoming, couldn’t do more to help and always smiling. The hotel itself is stunning, from the entrance with candles & fresh flowers, the gorgeous spa, it all felt very luxe. We were offered a welcome drink whilst checking in, bags taken to our room, shown to the spa as we booked a time slot (access is free to all guests you just have to pre book a time slot) the spa was gorgeous, very quiet so even more special, inside and outside jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and lovely pool with bubble beds. The bar/lounge was so cosy with a fire and comfy sofas. We ate at the onsite pub which was lovely. I would try the onsite fine dining if coming back. Breakfast was a real treat, lovely service, great selection of buffet and cooked options (all included) the room itself was great, a nice hotel room, just didn’t have the wow factor that the rest of the hotel did. We will absolutely be returning when visiting Ireland again. Great value for money as well. The location was ideal to explore Killarney, close to the waterfalls and stunning landscapes. You can play tennis at this 5-star hotel, and the area is popular for fishing and cycling. Breakfast was beautiful, the staff were so polite,and helpful. Food was beautiful, really loved the buffet. Such a varied selection of everything.

Super helpful upon check-in, we had been delayed by storms in London and they made sure our process was speedy, called the restaurant we had booked ahead of our reservation to warn them we may be a little late, and sorted our taxi ahead of time. We made my wife’s birthday dinner and it was all down to Hayfields staff. Our suite was immaculate, the breakfast was delicious. We would stay nowhere else when repeat visiting Cork as we do. They were all.just so lovely and the hotel itself truly amazing! The bed was the most comfortable we have had on our 6 weeks of travelling Europe, the room so spacious.
