The Grill & Bar features an open kitchen, cocktail bar and panoramic views. It is located on the mezzanine level and features dishes such as Tomahawk steak and lobster. Amazing hotel - even better than our expectations. The staff (front desk, restaurant, bar) were each friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful (great blackout curtains). DInner at The Grill was wonderful. We really enjoyed the walking trails.

Carton House A Fairmont Managed hotel offers 5-star accommodation with a hot tub and terrace. You can play tennis at the accommodation, and the area is popular for cycling. Right from we arrived we had a great experience. Liam met us at the gates as the Women's Irish Open was on- he was jovial & chatty. Konstantina at reception was lovely, quickly checking all details & explaining a few things. Our room was lovely with a huge tv & a bath & shower in a good sized bathroom. We had our evening meal in Kathleen's Kitchen- a unique location...the old kitchen was great. The staff were lovely & helpful...the food, all 3 courses divine! We received a complimentary champers for our anniversary. Breakfast was also excellent back in Kathleen's Kitchen. We used the pool, jacuzzi & steam room in the spa. Despite the golf competition the atmosphere was relaxed & in fact we used our complimentary tickets to watch a bit & we went on the red & yellow walks around the grounds.
