We would definitely stay again.

Mystery Hotel Budapest, Preferred Hotels & Resorts is a historically themed luxury hotel located in the 6th district in downtown Budapest, in an eclectic palace built in the 19th century. This 5-star hotel offers free WiFi and in-house spa and wellness area. Hungarian State Opera is 900 m away and St. Stephen's Basilica is a 15-minute walk from the hotel. Attention to detail in the room- mini bar well stocked, we had a notice telling us what other extras the hotel can offer. Very clean- extra comfy pillows. Nice spa- 1st 2 hours of the day are for hotel guests only which is great.

We loved everything here: the vibe when you walk in, the musical theme that plays throughout, and the welcoming staff not just at the front desk but in the restaurant for breakfast, Matthew and Jason looked after us each morning, and they were great, the staff on the rooftop, remembering your drinks and getting them for you, everything about this place was great and is a definite 5-star hotel, close to some great restaurants including bestia which was also awesome!! I short would 100% stay here again if in Budapest. A note on Budapest itself was its a beautiful, clean and well looked after city that really surprised me, we were only here to start a river cruise but would visit for sure.

The hotel’s prime location along the Danube offers breathtaking views, especially from the well-appointed rooms that boast both comfort and elegance. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was seamless. From the swift check-in process to the concierge's helpful recommendations, the service was impeccable. The room itself was spacious, modern, and equipped with most but not all  the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring restful nights after exploring the city. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail in the room’s design and the cleanliness maintained throughout my stay. The breakfast buffet was extensive, catering to a range of tastes with high-quality options. The hotel’s facilities, including the fitness center and lounge, were top-notch, providing everything needed to unwind and relax.
