Well set in Edinburgh, Virgin Hotels Edinburgh provides air-conditioned rooms, a fitness centre, free WiFi and a shared lounge. This 5-star hotel offers room service and a concierge service. Guests can have a drink at the bar. The location of the hotel was the best we could imagine! It is very close to Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile street. Everything is near the Hotel, you can go everywhere worth on foot. The hotel is very clean, with beautiful places inside. The room we stayed was very nice, clean, with nice mini bar and awesome bed, the most comfortable bed we have ever slept on! The whole staff were so kind and friendly! They helped us with anything we needed. Natalia and Yannis, who are Greek as we are, were of the most kind people working in the hotel. Moreover, we were lucky enough to watch live music on Saturday night by a wonderful band, while eating dinner in the hotel restaurant.

Staff was very attentive and very friendly whoever you spoke to and they all made sure we had a good experience. The food was really good too. The newer area of the hotel was very nicely decorated and clean, and the old part of the estate still had a very cosy feeling, especially the bar in the "library" where we could sit and have a few drinks after dinner.
