I have loved absolutely everything about this hotel: Amazing staff, gorgeous room with comfy beds and bathroom with proper heating, absolutely perfect breakfast, beautiful decor - I could not find a single flaw and could not have asked for a better hotel.

Each stylish room at Prestonfield House has antique furnishings, free Wi-Fi, plasma TV, a stocked minibar and views of the gardens and parkland. Prestonfield House is a stunning hotel placed in a beautiful garden. The main structure presents the traditional baronial architecture and the rooms inside are just faboluous. The kindeness of the staff at the reception was exceptional, and so was our room, with a view on the gardens. Unfortunately we spent there only one night, but we already plan to be back and stay longer.

The views over Edinburgh were a real highlight, especially from the rooftop bar. Service was generally excellent—friendly and attentive staff, especially at reception and in the bar. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Edinburgh, perfect for exploring both the historic and modern sides of the city. Overall, a luxurious stay that delivers on style and atmosphere.
