Situated in the small town of Lynton, by the estuary of West Lyn River and next to the Lynton and Lynmouth Cliff Railway, Seawood House Boutique Hotel boasts elegant rooms with sea view, free Wi-Fi,... Peter was a fantastic host. By far the best hotel we have stayed in on our holiday around the UK. Great restaurant, cosy lounge area with selection of drinks. Conveniently located next to the cliff railway.

Nestled in a wooded valley, Gidleigh Park boasts 107 acres of mature grounds, within the wilds of Dartmoor. With an award winning restaurant, this estate is just 6 minutes’ drive from Chagford. Settled in the Dartmoor national park, it is a very quiet and comforting get away. You can have a short walk with children from there as well as long ones. Plenty of nice activities in the hotel (boardgames, crocket, tennis, walks). The place is full of charm and history. The staff is extremely kind and efficient. They made the stay easy for a single parent, offering private dining. The kids menu was varied, delicious and decently priced. The restaurant was a treat for me as well.
