The bed and pillows were more than comfortable. The bathtub exceeded my expectations. In general everything was delightful.

This resort checked all the possible boxes. It is perfect because you are in small boutique resort near the ocean. They have given you all that you need; relaxing pool/patio/restaurant area. If you want to book a tour, the staff is right on it. If you need a relaxing drink by the pool, on it. A car might be good as the main road is busy and harder to walk - but doable.

The rooms are very private and beautifully decorated. The staff are amazing, kind and helpful with everything. The black sand beach is a 5 minute walk and there are restuarants within walking distance. The hotel is quiet and just far enough away from the busy part of Puerto Viejo.

Set in attractive tropical gardens, Physis Caribbean Bed & Breakfast offers bright accommodation. A wonderful small family-owned bed and breakfast in a calm location rather close to the beach and away from the most touristic area of Cocles. The owner was very friendly and helpful and recommended us several activities and restaurants. One can see that it's important to them that the guests enjoy their stay. Nextdoor to a lovely bar/restaurant Casa Rio. We even encountered a sloth on the street! All in all a very lovely and serene stay at Physis B&B with a delicious breakfast and great service beyond expectation!

Offering a beautiful tropical forest setting, Le Cameleon Hotel is a walking distance from Cocles beach in Puerto Viejo. This luxurious resort features a beach club, an outdoor swimming pool and a... The breakfast was incredible, the personal was so nice and kind. The room was absolutely clean and we arrived early and we can use all the commodities. Definitely recommended.
