The luxurious Park Hotel Vitznau right at the banks of Lake Lucerne has been entirely renovated in 2012 and 2013 and features its own private beach, 2 restaurants, a large spa area and free garage parking. This is one of the best hotels out there. From the very start the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The room was absolutely stunning and the food was 10/10. It's located in a cute/quiet town. It's absolutely perfect for a Christmas holiday!

The family-owned 5-star Hotel Schweizerhof Luzern is located right in the Old Town of Lucerne, next to the lake. It offers a spa area and elegant rooms with modern furniture. The Culture and Convention Centre and the train station are only a 10-minute walk away. This was my third time staying at this lovely hotel. Prime location, friendly staff, and very good breakfast. Best hotel in Luzern in my opinion. I would like to thank Mar Margaret at the front desk and Mamu Dahy at the villa restaurant for making our experience exceptional! I have celebrated my birthday at the hotel with my family last year and this year too, and I can't wait for my future stay at this great hotel.

Lucerne's legendary luxury hotel was built in the 1870s by César Ritz and Auguste Escoffier. Today it still provides highest-quality accommodation, culinary perfection and great musical entertainment in the National Bar. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and were so lovely to our 4 year old son spoiling him with chocolate every time we came back which made him very happy! The breakfast staff were particularly lovely and breakfast delicious. Upgrade on our rooms was very much appreciated and the top floor room had a wonderful terrace and view. Spa was great and so was the massage. Location great overlooking the water and a short walk into the main part of town, and staff very helpful on local activities and restaurants. Overall a wonderful stay!
