Five-Star Hotels in Montevideo

We are a family of four and stayed in two adjoining rooms for 5 nights. All of us absolutely loved the hotel, to be honest it is probably our favourite hotel ever! The location is great in a safe, trendy area, full of restaurants and close to the beach. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with a jaw dropping lobby. It is convenient, not too big, with a very good restaurant on the ground floor and a tapas bar/bar on the rooftop, where there is also a very nice pool, overlooking the neighbourhood and sea. The gym is on the 1st floor, with the most beautiful wooden equipment I have ever seen. The parking is on level minus one and very handy. The rooms themselves are beautiful, with details like an ornate and quirky water jar, a small but well designed desk, a balcony, a coffee machine and a well equipped mini bar and a nice balcony. Oh, and the mattresses and linen were heavenly. On top of this super nice staff and you have a recipe for what certainly is one of the leading hotels of the world, for a song!

This hotel is perfect! Location, decor, staff and service! The rooms are amazingly clean and beautifully decorated. Our room faced the beach, and the window was huge! So we enjoyed that very much. Upon arrival, they gave us vouchers for free drinks at the bar, which we used to have some very delicious gin & tonics! I would definitely stay here again!

The view from the 19th floor over the harbour was very good. I love to watch a container harbour in operation. (Admit I'm a bit of a nerd.)

Magnificent building everything was perfect!

The most amazing property and the staff could not have been more accommodating. It was spur of the moment and we will be back!
