The room was very spacious, elegantly decorated, high-end amenities, a perfect bathroom. The breakfast was one of the best I've experienced in the entire East Asia in 5-6 years of trips to the region. High-quality, fresh ingredients, very well-made dishes and a great versatility of offerings. The check-in/check-out was very smooth and friendly.

Every single detail was carefully thought through, we loved the hotel so much! All the little custom touches, comfy beds, bathrobes and slippers, beautiful bathroom were really appreciated. But the best part was the staff, they were by far the best we're ever had. Everyone was super friendly, efficient, spoke english and anticipated our needs without ever being pushy. The concierge helped us pick the perfect tour to Sun-Moon lake at a great price, confirmed all the details and options with us, handled the communication and payments with the driver, booked for us, and even called our driver while we were on our way back to make sure the tour went well. The reception staff was also lovely and helped us with so many things. Thank you for a wonderful and memorable stay, we're so happy we also got to celebrate the hotel opening. If you go to Taichung this is definitely the best hotel to stay at :)
