The dedication of the staff, the rooms, and the facilities were perfect. I stayed at the hotel for more than two weeks and did not encounter a single issue – which, in Nepal, says a lot about the exceptionally high standards of Barahi. Besides my room, I made use of all the facilities, such as the permanent internet connection (for my work), the restaurant, the swimming pool, and the bar. All were very clean and well maintained. The breakfast and menu are very diverse, offering both local and international dishes, all prepared to a very high standard. The service is something you will truly miss when staying at another hotel chain. The rooms themselves are perfect; the bathroom and beds were spotless, and the air conditioning worked flawlessly (which is also quite unique in Nepal). What impressed me even more was the high level of involvement from the management. They knew I was staying at the hotel for a longer period and often checked in to ensure everything was to my satisfaction. Their commitment, and their energy to make Barahi live up to what they themselves call “the highest standard in Nepal,” is something they genuinely deliver on. I was even invited by the management (Mr. Sunil) to visit another Barahi-location in the mountains (Sarangkot). This is also a fantastic place, further away from the city, which I would certainly consider for a future holiday to relax and enjoy.

This is a beautiful hotel, close to Pokhara town centre, close to the lake, wonderful attentive staff, very good food . Lovely swimming pool and spa and flora and the singing birds are a joy. A gem.

I had a great stay here. The staff were extremely friendly and upgraded my room. The pool and gym were great and meant I had a relaxing time before and after my trek. Very nice additional touches with fruit and biscuits in the room and the breakfast was delicious and had lots of options. Recommend to anyone coming to Pokhara.
