We stayed in one of the moon temples and it was perfect. The hotel itself is incredibly serene and a welcomed contrast to the noisy beach clubs farther down the beach. The staff are incredibly nice and helpful. The layout and design of the restaurant and club was amazing. Nomade is located on one of the nicest stretches of beach we saw while there. The whole experience was dreamy and I can’t wait to come back.

During last decade I visited over 150 hotels, including many 4/5 stars, and this one is easily in the top 3. - Location in the most picturesque and peaceful part of the island; - Very friendly and caring Staff in the reception & restaurants, - Great public areas - highly Instagramable pools, beach club, plenty of sunbeds etc. - We were super happy of our room with small private pool - convinient & with beatiful details like boho shower or underwater lights in the pool imitating bioluminescence, which is tha Island famous of.

It was our first trip to Mexico, we started with a few nights in Playa Del Carmen, then a few nights in Cancun. We had read a lot about Holbox and decided to go there. Googled a lot to find the right hotel for our needs. We wanted a hotel with few rooms and a little outside the center but importantly, by the sea. In the end we found AWA Boutique Hotel. It turned out that we made the right choice. Our room, which was an Ocean Front room, was fantastic. On the terrace there was a bathtub and it was really cool to bathe in while watching the sunset! The room had a cool design and the beds were wonderful, we need 60+ for that. We had dinner when we arrived, everything was fresh and delicious. At breakfast you could choose from a menu and we had avocado toast with nice accessories, it tasted great. The staff gave the best service and were genuinely interested in asking us where we were from and asking questions, this became an intimate relationship and in the end you recognized everyone who worked at AWA Holbox. We recommend renting bikes and there was a rental place right outside the hotel. We cycled around the island and found many beautiful beaches! We can highly recommend this Boutique hotel, nice rooms, great service, good food, on the beach and finally, the service was exactly what we expected from a Boutique hotel. AWA Boutique Hotel gets 5 stars out of 5 from us!
