location was very good. Breakfast buffet was very varied and you could also order separately for example poached eggs with avocado and toast. The staff where extremely attentive and despite being a buffet would insist on bringing you your coffee and toast etc. Very service minded which adds to the experience. The service was excellent across the property. We ate at the Persian restaurant and drank the local Moroccan wine which was very good. We used the excellent spa facilities, including massage which were relatively good. Cleanliness 10/10.

The hotel is new renovated so everything was clean and well designed. We got a very nice spacious room with a side sea view. The quality of the hotel facilities is great and the location on the central city beach is amazing. A lot of shops and restaurants literally few steps away, Ibn Battouta shopping mall is nearby and old town 15 minutes by walk. One thing took me by surprise and that was the customer service. I would like to specifically highlight two staff members here: Mr. Abdellah, a reservation manager for his warm welcome and professional approach upon arrival. We got very nice rooms from him and he was extremely helpful with introducing the hotel services to us. First I was actually thinking that I’m talking to the head manager of the hotel. Mr. Rabie, a room service staff member for his excellent communication skills with the guests. He’s paying attention to details and I strongly believe that this deserves a recognition and more responsible work position in the future. To you all at Barcelo Tangier: thank you and see you again.
