The host and all the staff members are extremely helpful. We arrived around lunch time and via Whatsapp we coordinated our lunch order, so we we arrived, we could immediately enjoy the lovely lunch. The rooms are extremely large, which is ideal for a family. We enjoyed sunny weather, but even when it rains, you feel super comfy and cozy in the villa. The kids loved the outing to the beach and the garden area. We had a lovely long weekend!

EVERYTHING! The setting, staff, food, room...I mean EVERYTHING was exceptional. This time my trip to Sri Lanka was quick and involved a lot of movement, but I am so thankful I ended my trip at Rate Wild Coast Tented Lodge. From the moment I entered, I felt like I was in a safari paradise. The staff, waiters, and GM were completely attentive and accommodating. While not the cheapest place I ever stayed, I think it was worth every penny. At first, I was disappointed I didn't have direct beach access as I had booked a pool room (and I thought those were only on the beach), but after settling in for an hour and catching a quick sunbathe I turned around to see a giant elephant on its way to my watering hole...they said it could happen...but I really thought the reality was slim to none...boy was I surprised! Besides all that, all the food and drinks were delicious! And, it cannot be omitted...the coastline! WOW! I have traveled the world and consider myself pretty versed in beautiful coastlines...and I have to say, this is one of the MOST BEAUTIFUL I have ever has the opportunity to sit and enjoy! The gigantic rocks, the angry sea, and the soft soft...even without at elephant visit I would have been so enthralled by Rate Wild Coast Tented Lodge. Thank you!!!

Uga chena huts were like a heaven on earth. Amazing scenery, amazing ambience , amazing eco friendly architecture , amazing team to take care of you and pamper you with attention and great food presented in Michelin star way. Everything at Leopard Trails was absolutely perfect. Rooms (lakeside) Elegantly decorated, classic without feeling outdated. All facilitates were provided, including incredible aircon! Felt super luxe! Location Close to the entrance of Yala. we were first there for the morning safari. The People So attentive, went above and beyond to make the stay special. Great food. Safari we went out twice, the morning and evening. If we could have our time again, we would have done three in total. The team were very respectful of the animals, never getting too close and taking great pride in seeing them in their natural habitat. A HUGE shoutout to our tour guide Ashan who made our experience one that we will never forget. He is incredibly knowledgable, super passionate which made us even more excited, as well as knowing a lot about the bigger creatures he took much care and joy in the smaller ones too (side note, insane bird knowledge!). I even got a little photography tutorial, which meant that I could photograph the beautiful creatures with my new found skills. Would 100% recommend booking your stay here.
