This hotel is one of the best I have stayed in recently. We were warmly welcomed with a traditional drum & song routine performed by the wonderful staff. The room was so comfortable, had everything we needed and a full mini bar included in the rate. The hotel facilities were great and absolutely spotless. The food was exceptional and the service outstanding. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to friends & family.

An incredibly well made complex, the Mountain View rooms are amazing and right next to the main dining area. The buildings are modern brutalist build and is impressively designed to combine with the nature that surrounds it. Food is of superb quality and all staff are extremely professional but still really friendly and approachable, this extends to every single member of staff, regardless of their roles.

The best hotel we stayed at in Sri Lanka! The people were amazing, the rooms were beautiful, and the food was even better. We also did a hiking tour with the hotel’s guide, which was an incredible experience. We highly recommend staying for at least two days — it takes about two hours to drive up the mountain, and you’ll want a full day to explore the beautiful surroundings. It's unbelievable what treasure we were able to discover here. Small but nice, remote, high in the mountains above Kandy, we had three wonderful days here. Very nice, modern rooms, a breathtaking view and a very strong team make this hotel what it is. Every wish was met and fulfilled. Our daily planning was supported... tucktucks and taxis were organized... and last but not least, an outstanding breakfast was prepared for us every morning according to our wishes. It was wonderful and when we are back in Kandy we won't have to think about where to stay. You're doing great guys, The Summit - Kandy is an absolute recommendation!

This hotel is high up in the hills with its own tea plantations, infinity pool with uninterrupted view overlooking the landscape and fantastic friendly and informed staff. Highly recommended the morning hike with botanist Isuru through the hills where he will explain more about all the different plants and herbs growing in the hills.

Amazing decor and facilities inside a large country house. Very comfortable rooms, excellent service and delicious food made on site. Very friendly staff that go the extra mile to ensure you are comfortable and looked after. The pool is amazing and looks out onto the valley. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Kandy, and is worth travelling to Kandy for!

The staff are just incredible, Manjula and Navod took such great care of us. The manager is so warm and welcoming, too. The location is amazing. It’s close enough to Kandy or other attractions but far enough to feel like you’re in the middle of nature and enjoying peace and quiet. Our hike with Aju was wonderful, he is so knowledgable. Food was amazing! Some of the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka - the pastries and fresh bread we had were exceptional. Also the room we stayed in was gorgeous (stable suite) - lovely decor, fittings to a high spec, and the bed & linen was so comfy.
