Beautifully designed new hotel, with brand-new high end luxurious rooms, centrally loacated, with a top rated super hip cocktail bar and an executive lounge on the top floor, a pool overlooking the Mekong river, great food, a fully equipped gym and the best and most breathtaking spa of the country. The service of the staff is excellent. They know what five star service means. The staff did everything to meet my special requests and tirelessy helped me with the daily little aspects of travelling. I felt so pampered and welcome. That is how you recognise a top class 5 star hotel. Thank you, team Amari Vientiane !

Wow! What can I say? There are not enough superlatives to do justice to this property. I would love to keep the secret of this wonderful place all to myself but that would be unfair to all those whose amazing efforts have brought this hotel to such an outstanding level. We have travelled throughout the UK, USA, Europe and extensively in SE Asia and we have never visited a better property than the Souphattra Heritage Hotel. The combination of a sympathetic heritage design, understated elegance and fine attention to detail, make this a 5 star + hotel. Everything is designed to offer luxury and privacy. From the marble and brass bathroom thyme to the old fashioned herring bone tiling techniques, it all comes together to create an amazing tasteful environment. The rooms are bright airy and spacious with high quality bedding and accessories. The facilities include a coffee shop, two restaurants, spa and beautiful pool area. All these areas continue to provide the same understated elegance common to the entire property. The staff all maintain the highest standards of professionalism while remaining engaging and friendly. Special thanks must go to Nouna, Nounee and Tookta who made our evenings at the bar such an entertaining and enlightening experience. My number one choice of hotel – ANYWHERE!!!! Breakfast was nice with egg station and noodle station. Different pastries, yogurts, cold cuts and salads. Staff were friendly and attentive. Restaurant is on top floor with plenty of lights and good view over the city. Hotel is very new and sparkly clean. Beautiful building with an amazing rooftop space. Spacious and luxurious rooms. Free minibar (including Beerlao) was a pleasant touch. Bathroom is huge and well appointed.

Five star hotel with excellent service. I was greeted with a glass of wine on arrival. Check in was smooth and felt personal. The mini-bar was included in the final cost. Breakfast was ordered from the menu and was delicious. The room was large, elegant and comfortable. It is a short walk to the centre of town and the local market along the river front. It felt safe and secure even at night. A great place to stay for a short city break to Vientiane.
