The room service food was beyond good. After an excursion to Angkor, it was exactly what we needed. The fried rice in particular was amazing. The laundry was also really affordable and fast. The staff were all very kind and accommodating, especially the front desk crew. Our tuk tuk driver Mr. Danny was very polite and friendly, and our Angkor tour guide Mr. Pin did a fantastic job. I'd highly recommend both of them to any future guests.

HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend this hotel. Our stay was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were treated by the friendliest staff. We even got a free room upgrade. We stayed for 5 days and each day the staff brought fresh fruits and cookies to our room. When we first arrived they took a picture of us. We initially thought it would be used for their social media however upon checkout, they framed the photo and gave us as a leaving present. It was such a thoughtful gesture. We even booked their 3-day tour which was perfectly curated for us. Breakfast was delicious and the restaurant served a great mix of traditional and Western food. The room was comfortable and the views around the property were absolutely amazing. It was a sanctuary set in the middle of a city. The location was perfect and a short 7-minute walk to Pub Street. The pool was perfectly tucked away to beat the hot sun and humidity. Mainly, the staff was some of the BEST people we have ever met and they truly made our stay memorable. From those at the front desk, to the bartenders, cleaners, cooks, and everyone....made us feel so welcomed and at home. We can't wait to visit again.

Our 4 night stay at the Grand Yard La Residence was a great experience. Chan, Justin and the team are wonderful hosts. The hotel is nicely designed, with spacious rooms, and kept immaculately clean. But it was the little thoughtful touches that impressed us the most. Chan arranged bike hire for us, having the bikes delivered and picked from the hotel. When arriving back from hot bike rides, the team was always waiting with a cold towel as we came in through the door. They hold a tea time every afternoon between 2-4, where you are able to try a range of teas and enjoy a local snack for free. The staff are incredibly friendly and like to hear about your day. I would also like to mention the hotel drivers, both transfers to and from the airport were arranged via the hotel. The drivers were engaging and had so much local knowledge to share. When we were out cycling at the temples one day, and the heat had become too much for our daughter, Pi (one of the drivers) spotted us and arranged for a tuk tuk to come out from the hotel to pick up us and our bikes. The following day, Pi took us on a tuk tuk tour of the temples, which would we would highly recommend. Stopping at interesting spots and waiting while we explored, took the stress out of the day. Such a lovely tour guide. We would throughly recommend Cambodia as a holiday destination. The temples are magical and so easily accessed. The town of Siam Reap is vibrant and there are so many places to eat, all serving excellent meals. And finally the people, they are so welcoming and friendly, there is such a spirit of community. We will definitely be returning and will choose Grand Yard La Residence as our hotel again!!!

What a gem of a hotel, great location, big super clean rooms and great facilities. But what makes this hotel a real find is the staff, they simply cannot do enough for you and always with a smile. Thank you all so very much. The attached gym is, according to the family members that used it, beyond fantastic, incredibly well equipped with great equipment and all important air conditioning. The owner/manager was super friendly. Thank you everyone for making our trip to Siem Reap so amazing. I cannot recommend the hotel highly enough.
